2. Size and select strips
Match each strip to its nail by width, not length, a strip slightly narrower than the nail bed is easier to fix than one that overhangs into the skin.
3. Align at the cuticle and press outward
Set the strip at the cuticle line first, then smooth it toward the tip in one direction, pressing out any air bubbles as you go.
4. File off the overhang
Trim or file away any excess strip at the free edge before curing, not after, curing locks whatever shape you press into place.
5. Cure hand one
Place the entire hand flat under the lamp so every nail sits inside the light field at once; partial coverage is the most common cause of uneven curing and lifting.
6. Cure hand two

How to remove semi-cured gel strips without damage
Peeling a semi-cured strip off dry is the fastest way to take a layer of your natural nail plate with it, the bond is strong enough that dry peeling can lift the nail's own surface cells along with the gel.
